Kryptonite discovered in Serbia

In Serbia, a new mineral was discovered. What is interesting is that new mineral matching Kryptonite's unique chemistry.
Kryptonite is a fictional substance from Superman comics and it's chemistry was described in movie Superman Returns.


"I'm afraid it's not green and it doesn't glow either - although it will react to ultraviolet light by fluorescing a pinkish-orange," Said mineralogist Dr Chris Stanley.

It will be formally named Jadarine by the place (Jadar) where it was found.
